Hi!  My name is Krystal and I am the Owner and Provider at Little Leaders Family Childcare LLC.  I am a wife and mother of two wonderful children.  I created Little Leaders because it would provide me with the opportunity to stay at home with my son while also doing something that I love. I have a love for working with children and watching them grow into independent learners.

 

A little more about me… I live in Windsor, CT.  I have two Masters Degrees, Human Services and Clinical Counseling.  Although I did not go into Education, I did focus on Child Development and have experience working with children of all ages through my profession before becoming a provider.  I love volunteering, spending time with family and friends, supporting my oldest daughter in every aspect of her young life, painting, as well as planning and throwing events!  I was a stay-at-home mom with my oldest for almost 2 years and during that time, I focused a lot on preparing my daughter for educational success.

At Little Leaders, my focus is to make sure all children that come to me build a foundation for learning.  My goal is to work in partnership with each child’s parents to make sure we are giving their child the start they need to be successful learners.  I understand that each child is an individual, that is why I think it is important for the children at Little Leaders to not only learn with their peers, but also through individual time/lessons.
